About RSS3
RSS3 is the Open Information Layer–an Environment for (truly) Open AI, Open Search, and Open Social. We build for Open Information and the Open Web.
We advocate for the power of freedom of information and emphasize its openness, accessibility and universal availability. Unlike major platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok that control vast amounts of public information, we urge individuals to redirect the power of data giants toward the public good by supporting decentralized channels and networks, and envision a world where open information empowers everyone.
RSS3 was launched by Natural Selection Labs and is backed by top investors including Arweave, Coinbase, Coinshares, Dapper Labs, Dragonfly, Fabric Ventures and Hashkey.

We are a globally distributed organization: all of our members come from different countries, including US, Canada, UK, China, Singapore, New Zealand, and Philippines.
Our team is equal, open, and free. We advocate flexible working hours, so both early birds and night owls are welcome!

Your role:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available parallel blockchain; develop complex innovative systems
- Write high-quality and maintainable code
- Execute performance optimization, benchmarking and testing
- Track new technologies in Web 3.0 and explorer new research directions
- Work with core developers and open-source contributors through effective use of tools such as Slack, Notion, and Github
We want you to:
- Proficient in the underlying principles and implementation of EVM, and have a high-level understanding of Ethereum development and blockchain design
- Familiar with distributed systems and have experience in concurrent computing
- Extensive production experience with Golang or Rust
- Good coding standards and development practices
- Self-motivated and able to constantly on the lookout for new and innovative ways to solve complex problems through rigorous experimentation
- Open, transparent and direct communication style, willing to accept feedback, and always work closely with teammates
- Have in-depth understanding of consensus algorithms (such as PoW, PoS, PBFT, etc.)
- Have security awareness and always pay attention to potential threats and vulnerabilities in the code
- Familiar with database principles and experience in database-related project development
