Authorities in Ohio have released the identities of three people found deceased inside a home this week after a series of eerie 911 calls.
Melissa E. Campbell, 51, Gale F. Sanders, 67, and 22-month-old Kozzar J. Lotut were found inside a home in the Village of Gnadenhutten, Ohio on Wednesday, Oct. 21, the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
The victims were not named in that initial statement but the Tuscarawas County Coroner’s office has since identified them in a statement to PEOPLE. All three died from gunshot wounds.
Police received a hang-up 911 call a little after 4 a.m. but were unable to track the location since it was immediately disconnected, the sheriff’s office said in its statement. The dispatchers repeatedly tried to contact the caller, and on one of the calls, they heard what sounded like a “voice softly [saying] the word ‘help.’”
As the effort continued to trace the phone, police were able to learn from the owner of the number that he had loaned it to someone, according to the statement. After investigating several possible locations, police traced the phone to the Gnadenhutten home.

A family member was at the scene and let police in before the bodies were found, per the statement.
The sheriff has said the evidence currently points to a murder-suicide, Cleveland 19 reported. He said a firearm was recovered from next to one of the deceased, but did not specify further.
Campbell and Sanders were Kozzar’s grandparents and frequently helped care for him because of his medical disabilities, the outlet reported.
The sheriff’s office did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for further information.
