Elizabeth Holmes was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon… sort of.
Jimmy Fallon opened the Wednesday, Oct. 28 episode of The Tonight Show with a parody of You Can See Everything, enlisting guest Jamie Lee Curtis to play Holmes, 42. The stars recreated one of the most popular scenes from the documentary, directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim.
In the short skit, Fallon, 52, played Fielder, 43, asking Curtis if she was genuinely excited to chat on his show or if she was just there to promote her new series, Newlyweds.

“No, I’m engaging with you as a human being,” Curtis, 67, told Fallon, just as the disgraced Theranos founder told Fielder. “Why would I deceive you? There’s no reason for me to do that. There’s nothing for me to deceive you on.”
“You’re being real… right now?” Fallon asked.
“I’m always being real,” Curtis replied.
“OK… I’ll see you out there on the show,” Fallon said.
Fielder and Oppenheim, 30, filmed the first part of You Can See Everything during the 34 days before Holmes began her 11-year federal prison sentence in May 2023. Holmes is set to move to a halfway house in August 2027, and is scheduled to be released from custody in February 2030.
In January 2022, a jury found her guilty on three counts of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud for her role in Theranos, a company that claimed its technology could run multiple blood tests using just a drop of blood. (She was found not guilty of four counts of fraud and the jury could not reach a verdict on three other counts.)

You Can See Everything opened in theaters on Oct. 16, a month after its surprise premiere at the Telluride Film Festival. Released by A24, the movie has grossed over $45 million, a major feat for a documentary.
Since its successful debut, the film has earned unexpected Oscar buzz outside of the Best Documentary Feature category. A24 reportedly plans to submit the movie for consideration for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography and other categories, according to Variety.
The distributor is also reportedly mounting a Best Supporting Actress campaign for Amanda Seyfried, who already earned an Emmy and Golden Globe for playing Holmes in Hulu’s The Dropout.
Curtis appeared on The Tonight Show to promote Newlyweds, a new NBC sitcom she created that stars real-life spouses Téa Leoni and Tim Daly. New episodes air Fridays at 8:30 p.m. ET.
