From Miley Cyrus to Selena Gomez, check out the bling on these now very grown-up former child stars

Not only are your favorite Nickelodeon and Disney Channel stars all grown up, but some are also engaged and married.

Many of the stars of shows like Hannah Montana, Lizzie McGuire and Victorious have continued acting, and they've reached some big life milestones as well, like saying "yes" to their partners.

After four years of dating, Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend, drummer Maxx Morando, got engaged in December 2025, with the "Younger You" singer debuting her ring at the world premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash. She joins the ranks of ex-Disney and Nickelodeon acts like Zendaya, Hilary Duff, Selena Gomez and Bridgit Mendler, who have shown off their sparkly hardware.

Miley Cyrus

In December 2025, talk of an engagement buzzed after Cyrus stepped out for the Avatar: Fire and Ash world premiere with Morando, her partner of four years, while wearing a glitzy diamond on that finger.

Shortly after, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that the two had gotten engaged and that the Hannah Montana star was "thrilled."

"The ring is so her. It has a cool, boho-rock vibe to it. It's beautiful," the source said. "She didn't feel the need to announce her engagement. Maxx is very private, and it's influencing how she lives her life now."  

Jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche designed the "bespoke" ring, her rep Francesca Simons confirmed to PEOPLE. Cyrus' engagement band featured a cushion-cut diamond set in a thick 14-karat gold band.

Zendaya

Zendaya shut down the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet with a dramatic orange gown and a ring that became the talk of the town. The sparkler on her left hand appeared to be a 5.02-carat East-West Cushion Diamond Button Back Ring from the jewelry brand Jessica McCormack, which lists the design under the engagement ring section on its website.

After fan speculation that the K.C. Undercover and Shake It Up alum had gotten engaged to her boyfriend, Tom Holland, a family source confirmed to PEOPLE that the Spider-Man: Homecoming actor had indeed popped the question.

"Tom's always had this sweet way of letting the world know that Zendaya is his. Now, it's official — she really is!" another source told PEOPLE in January 2025.

The pair are rumored to have since tied the knot — her stylist Law Roach claimed in March of that year that Zendaya and Holland had secretly wed — but the actress hasn't confirmed or denied the news, explaining during an April 2026 appearance on The New York Times' Modern Love podcast that the two are trying to "preserve things" for themselves.

Selena Gomez

Benny Blanco's proposal to Gomez in December 2024 included a Taco Bell picnic and a luxe marquise diamond ring.

The unique gem cut — an elongated oval with pointed ends — sits on a diamond eternity band. Ann Grimmett, expert and VP of Merchandising at Jared Jewelers, estimated that the jewel contains 6 carats and is worth around $225,000.

During a conversation in January 2025, the Wizards of Waverly Place actress told Interview magazine that she has "always dreamed" of a marquise ring, ever since her "Good For You" days. Many fans believed the ring was a nod to Gomez's 2015 hit, in which she sings, "I'm a marquise diamond."

The couple, who were first romantically linked in December 2023, tied the knot in California on Sept. 27, 2025.

Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato said "yes" to boyfriend Jordan "Jutes" Lutes' surprise "personal and intimate" proposal in December 2023. Lutes worked closely with Material Good's Director of Marketing and Fine Jewelry, Teresa Panico, on the design of the Disney alum's bespoke pear-shaped diamond ring at the New York City retailer's SoHo location.

The musicians have been together since 2022. Their nuptials were held in Santa Barbara, Calif., on May 25, 2025.

Hilary Duff

The Lizzie McGuire actress and Matthew Koma announced their engagement on Instagram in May 2019 after two years of dating.

In two sweet selfies of the couple, Duff can be seen cozying up with Koma while showing off her ring.

"He asked me to be his wife♥️," she wrote in the caption.

Duff and Koma made their red carpet debut in January 2017 and welcomed their first child together, daughter Banks Violet, in October 2018. They wed in December 2019 and later welcomed two more children, daughters Mae James and Townes Meadow. Duff is also mom to son Luca Cruz from her first marriage to Mike Comrie.

Anneliese van der Pol

That's So Raven star Anneliese van der Pol met her fiancé Johnno Wilson while playing his on-screen ex on the Disney series Raven's Home from July 2017 to September 2023.

The pair shared a sweet slideshow on Instagram in December 2023 that showed Wilson getting down on one knee in front of a Christmas tree to ask a shocked van der Pol to marry him. The post also gave fans an up-close look at her rectangular ring as she held a glass of champagne.

"Thank you @disney for introducing me to my TV ex-spouse and real life fiancé," Wilson captioned the post.

The former costars eloped at the Santa Barbara Courthouse on Dec. 11, 2024, and welcomed a daughter in late 2025.

Bella Thorne

Shake It Up actress Bella Thorne revealed her engagement to boyfriend of nine months Mark Emms to Vogue in May 2023. She told the publication that Emms had proposed at her California home, and according to the publication, the emerald-cut diamond ring was over 10 carats.

They got engaged again two years later, when the actress got down on one knee herself in August 2025, popping the question surrounded by candles and flowers.

The pair met at Cara Delevingne's birthday party in August 2022. In December 2025, Thorne told PEOPLE they hadn't set a wedding date yet.

Bridgit Mendler

Mendler and Griffin Cleverly got engaged in April 2019.

The Good Luck Charlie alum — who's now the CEO of the Northwood start-up — shared the happy news on Instagram in a purple-tinted selfie of the pair by the beach, displaying the band on her finger.

"Griff you are a deep thinker, a steadfast companion, a cheerleader and a challenger, and the biggest goof I know," she captioned the post. "Looking forward to holding ur hand forever 💜."

The pair wed in an intimate beach ceremony in October 2019 and, in 2022, adopted a son they had previously been fostering.

Debby Ryan

Jessie star Debby Ryan had a lavish New Zealand proposal with Twenty One Pilots drummer Josh Dun on Dec. 22, 2018.

Alongside a series of beautiful shots taken as the Twenty One Pilots drummer dropped to one knee, Ryan wrote, "I said yes! Well technically I said 'NO WAY' twice but I meant yes."

After the engagement, the Insatiable star shared a video on her Instagram Stories that showed a closer view of the emerald-cut ring and wrote, "my sweet lil family."

Ryan and Dun tied the knot in Austin, Texas, on Dec. 31, 2019. They welcomed their daughter, Felix Winter, during a home birth in December 2025.

Tiffany Thornton

Lovato's Sonny with a Chance costar Tiffany Thornton, who lost her first husband, Chris Carney, in a December 2015 car accident, found love again with family friend and youth pastor Josiah Capaci.

In August 2017, Thornton posted about their engagement on Instagram with a photo of the pair kissing as she raised her ring.

"Not only is Josiah my best friend but he is also a fresh start for me. He reminds me that love isn't a once in a lifetime thing," she captioned the post. "He is exactly what I needed when I didn't even know I needed it."

Thornton and Capaci married two months later, with Carney's parents sitting front row at her wedding. They later welcomed two daughters, Juliet Joy and Kimber Jo. The radio personality also has two older children, sons Kenneth James and Bentley Cash, from her marriage to Carney.

Aly Michalka, half of the music duo Aly & AJ and former Phil of the Future star, posted a close-up of her sparkler on X in July 2014 alongside the caption, "Wanted to share the exciting news! Feel very blessed to know such a great love #engaged x Aly."

A day before confirming her engagement to director Stephen Ringer, she wrote on Instagram that fans weren't looking hard enough at her new piece of jewelry, cheekily captioning a photo of herself and sister AJ Michalka, "Hmmm, no one’s noticed yet. #lookcloser."

Aly and Ringer wed in June 2015 and welcomed son Jack Francis in April 2024.
