Beyond The Valley has unveiled the lineup for its 2026 edition, with the New Year’s festival once again assembling a broad mix of international heavyweights and Australian favourites for five days of music at Barunah Plains.

Returning to Wadawurrung Country from 28 December to 1 January, the festival will be headlined by John Summit and The Black Eyed Peas, leading a programme that spans electronic music, hip-hop, indie rock and pop as Beyond The Valley prepares to close out another year in regional Victoria.

Chicago DJ and producer John Summit arrives as one of dance music’s most in-demand names, while The Black Eyed Peas bring a catalogue of global hits that has made them one of the biggest crossover acts of the past two decades. Elsewhere on the international bill are UK grime pioneer Skepta, Long Beach rapper Vince Staples, house music veteran Armand Van Helden, Dutch techno artist KI/KI, UK bass producer Hamdi, UK jungle revivalist Nia Archives and New York experimental duo Frost Children.

Australian artists remain central to the festival’s identity. Ocean Alley return with their laid-back psych-rock grooves, while The Veronicas continue their live resurgence following a run of major festival appearances. Brisbane indie favourites The Jungle Giants also feature alongside Odd Mob, 2charm, Club Angel, Rum Jungle, Playlunch, DJ PGZ, Robert Baxter, CRŸBABY, Hannah Liang and a host of emerging local acts.

Since its launch, Beyond The Valley has steadily evolved into one of Australia’s defining New Year’s festivals, balancing internationally recognised artists with homegrown talent across multiple stages. This year’s lineup continues that approach, offering a programme that moves comfortably between dance music, rap, indie rock and pop without leaning too heavily on any one genre.
