LØLØ is done pretending she has everything figured out. The Toronto-born pop-rock artist has released ‘pretty little wreck’, a bright, guitar-driven new single about accepting the parts of yourself that don’t arrive neatly packaged.
There’s an early-2000s pop-rock kick to the track, with lively guitars and an upbeat swing rubbing against lyrics about emotional disorder. Rather than treating falling apart as something to conceal, LØLØ turns it into the point.
“I used to spend so much time trying to hide the messiest parts of myself, but lately I realized those parts are the most interesting,” she says. “I wrote ‘pretty little wreck’ when I decided to embrace the chaos instead of apologizing for it.”
The single follows LØLØ’s second album, god forbid a girl spits out her feelings!, released in April via Fearless Records. The album continued the diaristic streak that has run through her music since her early releases, mixing pop-punk and alternative rock with lyrics that tend to say the quiet part out loud. Its single ‘the punisher’ also landed LØLØ on the Billboard Canada Airplay charts.
She’s spending much of the remainder of 2026 on the road. Her North American ‘god forbid a girl goes on tour!’ headline run begins with a hometown show at Toronto’s Opera House on September 17, with its Bowery Ballroom date in New York already sold out. Before that comes another Warped Tour appearance in Mexico City in September.
Australian fans won’t have to wait long either. LØLØ heads our way in December for Good Things Festival, following an Asian arena and stadium run supporting frequent collaborators Simple Plan.
It’s another busy stretch for an artist whose place in the pop-punk world continues to expand. Recent months have seen her appear onstage with Simple Plan and All Time Low and join Plain White T’s for a reworked version of ‘Hey There Delilah’. With ‘pretty little wreck’, though, the focus comes back to what LØLØ does particularly well: turning the untidy business of being human into a pop-rock song you can yell along with.
