Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham are heading back out on the road, announcing an extensive run of shows across New South Wales and Victoria for their 2026 Go North Go South Tour.

The 18-date run celebrates the duo’s third studio album, ‘Everything Around You’, which spent multiple weeks at number one on the ARIA Australian Country Album Chart. Rather than sticking to the capital-city circuit, Urquhart and Cunningham are taking the record into theatres, halls, folk clubs and smaller venues from Bowral and Murwillumbah to Geelong and Portland, before the tour concludes at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in January 2027.

‘Everything Around You’ finds the pair writing about hope, love and resilience without pretending life always makes those things easy. Songs including ‘Joy Roller’, ‘Stone In Your Heart’ and ‘New Frontier’ sit within a record shaped by the idea of paying attention to what surrounds us, particularly when things become difficult.

Musically, Urquhart and Cunningham continue to move comfortably between country, folk, blues and roots. Cunningham brings decades of experience as a member of The Waifs, while Urquhart has established her own considerable career in Australian country music. Together, they have already collected three Golden Guitar Awards and an ARIA nomination.

The Go North Go South shows will draw heavily from ‘Everything Around You’, but the pair are also reaching further into their respective histories. ‘Size Up’ and material from their previous albums will appear alongside songs connected to Cunningham’s work with The Waifs and Urquhart’s solo catalogue.

The tour begins at Horizontal Festival in Bowral on October 3 before moving through Wollongong, Murwillumbah, Tintenbar, Tenterfield, Dungog, Newcastle, Old Bar, Urunga, Coramba, Kiama, Mortdale and Woy Woy. A Victorian stretch takes in Geelong, Portland, Main Ridge and Stratford.

There’s something fitting about an album called ‘Everything Around You’ being taken well beyond the usual handful of metropolitan stops. These are songs concerned with connection, and Urquhart and Cunningham are taking them directly to communities where intimate live music remains very much part of the local fabric.
