Freya Skye has released her hotly anticipated new single bad taste, adding another chapter to what has been a brilliant year for the fast rising pop star. The track first saw the light of day as an acoustic performance during Skye’s first ever NYC headline show, and quickly became a fan favourite during the early part of her Stars Align Tour.

Building on this response, Skye took it to the studio to get the official version down, and this release comes just days before she continues her sold-out tour in the US. The music video drops today, while there will be a 7″ vinyl version by the weekend.

The Stars Align Tour returns to the UK this autumn, and will go truly global in 2027 as her headline dates will take in Latin America and Asia. This announcement comes off the back of Skye’s first headline shows in Australia. Between the tour dates, she has been working on her debut album, continuing to develop the songwriting and sound that have established her as one of pop’s most exciting emerging voices.
