2charm are back with ‘making out’, a new track that takes the rush of a crush and drops it straight onto the dancefloor.

Made with Ninajirachi, ‘making out’ started with a dream about a crush and a few hours in 2charm’s home studio before an Addison Rae concert. The track chops up a sample from their debut single ‘boyfriend’, folding it into hyperpop synths, clipped vocals and a club-ready drop. The lyrics came from a notes app filled with dreams and late-night thoughts, keeping things appropriately close to the skin.

It’s the duo’s first release since debut album ‘star scum city’ arrived in February. That record pulls together europop, EDM and techno influences, with collaborators including Ninajirachi, 1tbsp and Simon Lam, while taking cues from the dancefloor and the messy business of figuring yourself out in a new city.

2charm have spent much of the past year taking that music on the road, appearing at SXSW, touring with Slayyyter and Ninajirachi and playing headline shows across Australia, North America, the UK, New Zealand and Europe.

They’ll finish 2026 at Beyond The Valley on December 31 before heading straight into Field Day on January 1.
