Spurs are level! Kudus sends a curling cross into the penalty area. Palhinha goes for it but it comes off Van Hecke and goes in at the near post! Not much the defender could do about that.
And at Molineux, there is plenty of mumbling and grumbling among the home crowd with Wolves still trailing Leeds 3-1. There has been talk this week of a new deal for their manager Vítor Pereira, who is yet to get a point on the board this season.

Spurs find a way through! Richarlison manages to get a shot away while on the floor in the Brighton area and Verbruggen cannot keep it out. Bentancur and Kudus were involved in the buildup. Game on!
GOAL! Wolves 1-2 Leeds (Stach 39)
Leeds have turned it around at Molineux! Big Anton Stach smashes a free-kick from 25 yards out and José Sá has no answer.
“The Hammers are especially frustrating,” says Kári Tulinius via email. “They look like a good team, with lots of smart movement that sets up interesting passing angles, but when it comes time to pull the trigger, it’s either a pass backwards or to nobody.”

Fair play to Burnley. It looked for a moment like they were wobbling after conceding such an early goal, but their pressing and passing has been near-immaculate and they very much deserve that equaliser. Quilindschy Hartman has been a handful at left wing-back and it was his cross that fell kindly for Jaidon Anthony to steer home, making it 1-1. Game on at Turf Moor. It’s been very watchable stuff.

It’s a dream start for Nottingham Forest at Burnley – although it’s not come in traditional ‘Ange-ball’ style. A corner was swung in by Douglas Luiz, the Clarets half-cleared and Neco Williams thundered home from just inside the box. “Neco! Neco!” is the shout from the rowdy visiting fans. Their side have started in superb fashion, which is just what Postecoglou needed after that midweek Carabao Cup exit to Swansea. After two defeats in his first two games, is the Australian on course for victory today?
Brighton 0-0 Spurs: The visitors are looking dangerous as Udogie delivers a threatening cross that Bergvall almost gets on the end of.
That’s Williams’ third Premier League goal of his career. He scored in last season’s 7-0 drubbing of Brighton.

It has been a busy week on the south coast. The former Arsenal interim sporting director Jason Ayto was confirmed as David Weir’s successor on Monday after the Scot’s surprise departure, having spent seven years at Brighton. Ayto is credited with playing a major role in bringing Martín Zubimendi to north London after stepping in to replace Edu last year and the Brighton owner, Tony Bloom, hopes the 40-year-old’s arrival will give the club “new leadership and direction”.
Wolves are one of two teams in England’s top four tiers yet to register a point this season – the other being (now) Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United.

Vítor Pereira lost seven first-team regulars in the summer window and seems to be grappling with many of the same problems he faced when he first took charge. He has made more substitutions (20) than any other manager this season. The team look unsettled at the back, roles are undefined and players seem to be learning on the job.
