Zendaya is the queen of vintage fashion.
The actress and her stylist, Law Roach, are known to pull from fashion archives during her press tours. While promoting her 2026 film Spider-Man: A Brand New Day in Europe, Zendaya donned two web-inspired gowns, including an archival John Galliano dress.
However, one of the star’s most iconic vintage fashion moments is the robot suit she wore for the 2024 Dune: Part Two premiere in London. The metallic look was from the 1995 archive, and one of the men who made the suit was even on hand for her fitting.
Speaking with Vogue in February 2024, Roach shared that the pair originally pulled vintage looks “out of necessity” at the beginning of Zendaya’s career, but now they see it as a way to be sustainable.
“If we’re really going to have conversations about sustainability, wearing something that somebody else has is kind of the easiest way to do it,” he said. “Beautiful clothes should live the longest lives possible, and as many lives as possible. They shouldn’t just lay dormant somewhere.”
Here are 22 of Zendaya’s best vintage fashion moments.
