Rock icon Ann Wilson will return to Australia this November, announcing a run of headline sideshows around her appearance at the Carreras & Friends concert in Brisbane. Backed by her band Tripsitter, the Voice of Heart Tour will visit Adelaide, the Gold Coast, Melbourne and Sydney, with legendary Australasian rock band Dragon joining as special guests on all Australian dates.

The tour offers fans the chance to experience one of rock’s most celebrated voices in an intimate headline setting. Wilson’s performances will draw from the enduring catalogue of Heart, alongside solo material and songs from her collaborations with Tripsitter, including tracks from Another Door and Consecrated Ground.

Few singers have left a mark on rock music quite like Wilson. As the co-founder and unmistakable voice of Heart, she helped redefine the role of women in hard rock, fronting one of the genre’s biggest arena acts at a time when few female artists occupied that space. Across a career spanning five decades, Heart have sold more than 35 million records, earned induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, with songs including Barracuda, Magic Man, Crazy on You and Alone remaining staples of classic rock radio.

Adding further weight to the Australian shows is the inclusion of Dragon, whose catalogue has become woven into the fabric of Australasian rock. From April Sun in Cuba and Are You Old Enough? to Rain, the band’s enduring songs have continued to resonate across generations, making them a fitting pairing for Wilson’s long-awaited return.

The Australian visit also coincides with Wilson’s appearance at Carreras & Friends at The Gabba on 5 December, where she will join legendary tenor José Carreras for a special performance of Somewhere, before performing Alonewith the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and closing with a rendition of Stairway to Heaven accompanied by orchestra and choir. The one-night-only event will also feature Natalie Imbruglia, Sheppard, Darren Hayes, Ronan Keating, The Corrs, Robbie Williams, Katherine Jenkins and Mark Vincent.

While the Brisbane concert promises a unique collaborative spectacle, the newly announced headline dates place the spotlight squarely on Wilson herself, celebrating one of rock’s most influential voices alongside a band that continues to honour both her legacy and her ongoing creative evolution.
