After months of carefully revealing its emotional contours through a trio of singles, Grace Turbo has officially released her second album, Yes, And. The Sydney-based songwriter celebrates the album’s arrival today with a launch show at The Eveleigh Hotel in Redfern, marking the next chapter for one of Australia’s quietly compelling indie pop voices.

Backseat Mafia recently spotlighted the album’s final preview, ‘Bleed Again’, a song that distilled Grace Turbo’s gift for pairing emotional precision with understated, piano-led arrangements. It followed earlier singles ‘Linear’, which premiered via Backseat Mafia, and ‘Camera Shy’, steadily building anticipation for a record that now arrives in full.

Produced by Blain Cunneen, Yes, And expands on the foundations laid by Grace Turbo’s 2019 debut Enjoy the Ache. Built around piano, synths, bass and drums, the album moves between richly layered arrangements and quieter moments where voice and piano are left to carry the emotional weight. Across its songs, Grace Turbo examines memory, fractured relationships and the way people reshape shared experiences to protect themselves from uncomfortable truths.

Drawing comparisons to artists including Julia Jacklin, Aldous Harding and Regina Spektor, Grace Turbo continues to carve out her own space within Australia’s independent music landscape.
