Taylor Swift is in a new hairstyle era!
The singer, 36, debuted her shortest hair in years as she attended a wedding with celebrity friends in the U.K. on Saturday, Aug. 15.
Joined by pals Sabrina Carpenter and Jack Antonoff to celebrate the nuptials of recording engineers Oli Jacobs and Laura Sisk, Swift’s shorter hairdo was on full display, with her signature bangs still intact, as she wore a navy blue dress embroidered with golden floral designs.
She paired the attire with her classic red lip, as well as her massive engagement ring and wedding band following her own wedding to Travis Kelce earlier this summer.

A first glimpse of Swift’s shorter hairstyle was seen when the “Cruel Summer” singer was spotted out in London on Wednesday, Aug. 12. While exiting the private members-only club Annabell’s with a friend, Swift was photographed with her long hair cut into a shoulder-length style.
In recent years, the Grammy Award winner has worn her blonde hair long and straight, but she has been rocking her natural hair texture more as of late.
When Swift announced that she was releasing a new single for Toy Story 5, imagery for the song showed her rocking a textured, banged hairstyle with a boho-Western look. Before that, one of the last times she was seen publicly with a similar style was in 2024 during a night out in Sydney with Carpenter, 27, after she had reintroduced the old-school look earlier that year while supporting Kelce, 36, at one of his NFL games.

In a feature for Elle in celebration of her 30th birthday in 2019, Swift recalled the changes to her hair over the years.
“I learned that your hair can completely change texture,” she wrote. “From birth, I had the curliest hair and now it is STRAIGHT. It’s the straight hair I wished for every day in junior high.”
Added Swift at the time: “But just as I was coming to terms with loving my curls, they’ve left me. Please pray for their safe return.”

Swift’s attendance at Jacobs and Sisk’s wedding — which took place at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios outside Bath, Gloucestershire — came amid years of professional collaborations with the pair.
Sisk and Jacobs have served as some of Swift’s longest-standing studio collaborators, working with the pop star across various albums. (The Grammy Award-winning couple also collaborate closely with fellow guests Carpenter and Antonoff, 42, both of whom Swift is friends with and has also collaborated with musically.)
Jacobs has strong ties to the wedding venue itself. According to his website, Jacobs began his career as an assistant engineer at Real World Studios, and over eight years, he eventually worked his way up to become the head engineer, later moving to Los Angeles in 2022.
Sisk, meanwhile, works as a recording engineer in Los Angeles and New York. She previously attended Swift’s wedding to Kelce at Madison Square Garden in New York City in July.
