Keith Richards is a grandfather of nine!

The Rolling Stones legend’s daughter, Theodora Dupree Richards, shared on Instagram on Monday, Aug. 17, that she and her boyfriend, artist Oscar Burnett, welcomed a baby boy in April.

“Tarka Nathaniel Richards Burnett has been rocking our lives now for almost five months,” the 41-year-old announced, giving his date of birth as April 9, 2026.

The couple also shares another son, August LeBeau — who was born in 2024 and is affectionately called Gus — and Theodora revealed that the pair are already “fierce best bro buds.”

“@oscarburnett and myself could not be happier that this family keeps growing and loving as hard as we do,” she finished. “Very blessed as we take on all this next life chapter has to offer. My smiley guy.”

Theodora shared a series of family photos alongside the announcement, including snaps of Gus with his little brother and Tarka spending some quality time with his parents.

Theodora’s mom, Patti Hansen, left four red heart emojis in the comments section, while Jo Wood, the ex-wife of Keith’s Stones bandmate Ronnie Wood, wrote, “That is so beautiful Theo .. makes my heart melt.”

Leah Wood, their daughter, said the boys “are the next chapter to a very cool legacy,” adding, “May they be as cool as their grandparents and funny for the rest of their lives!!!”

Famous friends including Poppy Delevingne, Mia Tyler and Sophie Dahl also expressed their congratulations.

Theodora — who was named after Keith’s grandfather, Theodore Augustus Dupree — is his eldest daughter with Hansen. The couple also shares Alexandra Richards, 40.

Keith, 82, also had three children with his first wife, Anita Pallenberg: son Marlon Richards, 47, daughter Dandelion Richards, 54, and son Tara Richards, who died as an infant.

With Tarka’s arrival, Keith now has nine grandchildren. Earlier this year, the rocker became a great-grandfather for the first time, too.

His granddaughter Ella Richards, 30, announced on Instagram in March that she was expecting her first baby with her boyfriend, photographer Sascha von Bismarck.

“Sending love and looking forward to welcoming my first great-grandchild!” Keith wrote at the time.

At the end of May, Ella — the daughter of Marlon and fashion designer Lucie de la Falaise — shared a glimpse of her newborn daughter, Luna, on Instagram.

“30!! best birthday yet with our baby girl Luna🌙,” she wrote in the caption.

Shortly after announcing her pregnancy, Ella told Tatler that her grandfather is “very quiet and sweet and loving.”

Keith himself spoke of the dynamic he has with his grandchildren in an interview with Rolling Stone Australia in 2015.

“There’s a certain relationship,” he said. “That distance between parent and grandparent, which sometimes can be very, very useful and very inspiring. A couple of my grandsons, all they want to do is go on the road with me now.”
