Leslie Mann says her daughters Maude and Iris Apatow offer conflicting advice when it comes to fashion.
Mann, 54, appeared on Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce on Monday, Aug. 24, where she discussed motherhood and bonded with Kelce, 34, over their daughters’ “brutal” honesty.
After Kelce shared that her eldest daughter Wyatt, 6, whom she shares with husband and former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce, said she didn’t like the dress she was wearing, Mann opened up about her own experience with getting fashion advice from her kids.
“They’re the only ones I can trust,” Mann said of daughters Maude, 28, and Iris, 23, whom she shares with husband director Judd Apatow. “Like really trust. They’ll just be like, ‘No.’ ”

“But usually they have different opinions,” Mann added, referencing their opposing tastes when she showed them the dresses she was deciding between packing for a spa weekend in Las Vegas.
When Kelce asked if Mann felt her daughters were “competing” over who gave the best fashion advice, Mann answered that they simply have “different opinions on” which piece “they think is cuter, but they’ll be honest about” her look.
Kelce is also mom to daughters Elliotte, 5, Finnley, 16 months, and Bennett, 3. She recently opened up about how happy she is to be a mother to all daughters, and shut down a line of questioning about whether she and her husband were still hoping to have a son in the Aug. 20 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast.

“You’re wrong. I don’t need to have a son,” she said. “It’s your quarterly reminder that we do not ask people who have children of one gender if they are going to try for the other one. That’s not how that works.”
“I’m so sorry to all the boy moms out there that I’m about to say this, but I’m biased because I only know what I know,” she explained. “So please take this with a grain of salt. Who run the world? You know what I mean?”
