Tim McGraw took a tumble while onstage in Cincinnati but was “Humble and Kind” enough to laugh it off.

On Friday, Aug. 28, the 59-year-old “Standing Room Only” singer shared footage to social media of himself falling to the ground during his performance at the Riverbend Music Center, while also poking fun at the situation.

“Cincinnati, you started our weekend off on the right foot even if I couldn’t stay on mine 😂 We appreciate you coming out and singing along! Detroit, you’re up!” he captioned an Instagram post.

His carousel started with four rather normal photographs of him entertaining the crowd before a fifth slide revealed a video of the fall, with the voiceover, “Yup, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I ended up in this situation.”

During the added audio, McGraw paused the clip of him tipping backwards, eventually showing how the heel of his cowboy boot got caught in the flooring as he was moving around onstage.

He toppled backwards, complete with his arms flailing in the air before landing on his butt.

The microphone stayed firmly planted in the Grammy winner’s hand the entire time, and he quickly popped back up with a smile. The rest of his carousel showed him rocking out, after arriving roughly 45 minutes late, The Cincinnati Enquirer reported.

Some fans seemed concerned after seeing the country star hit the ground.

“Not u posting the fall😭 hope your backs ok,” one person commented on his post. Another wrote, “bubble wrap him for tonight.”

However, others appeared amused.

“I bet your daughters blew up the family group chat😂,” a comment read.

McGraw shares three adult daughters with his wife Faith Hill: Gracie, 29, Maggie, 28, and Audrey, 24.

“Oh nooooo 😂😭❤️❤️,” his youngest wrote.

McGraw previously told Entertainment Tonight in August 2023 that he would love to one day collaborate on music with Hill, 58, and their three girls.

“They’re the life of the party every time they’re around,” he said of their children. “They just inspire us in so many ways. I’d love to do a song with all five of us at some point. I talk about it all the time, and they’re like, ‘I ain’t singing with you, dad.’”

The “I Like It, I Love It” singer recently shared a rare photo to social media to celebrate Maggie’s 28th birthday.

“Happy 28th birthday to our amazing middle girl Maggie!! We are all so very proud of you,” he captioned a single Instagram image on Aug. 11. “Your integrity, your work ethic and your devotion to your family are wonderful gifts that we get to enjoy and take pride in everyday. Keep on rockin it Maggie May!”

In 2021, McGraw told PEOPLE, “It’s inspiring to me to watch them go out on their own and do the things they do.”

“We’ve raised three strong, independent, strong-minded young women,” he added. “And what I’m most grateful for is just how normal our kids are and how grounded they are and how much they respect themselves and other people.”

McGraw’s next show is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 29 at the Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids, Mich.
