Singer-songwriter Steve Stinson is continuing the journey towards his forthcoming debut album Cocoon, due for release in October 2026, with his latest single, ‘Evergreen’, a warm and reflective song about the passions that remain with us through every chapter of life.

Blending blues, folk and Americana with Stinson’s understated approach to storytelling, ‘Evergreen’ explores his lifelong relationship with music and the realisation that, despite changing careers, countries and priorities, songwriting has remained one of the few constants he has never been able to leave behind. More than simply looking back on that connection, the track captures the moment he decided it was finally time to give that part of himself the attention it had always deserved.

“Evergreen is about taking a part of me that’s never really fallen off my radar my entire life,” Stinson explains. “It’s always been something I’ve been passionate about and now is the moment where it not only gets put in front of other people, but also to really understand how others resonate with it.”

Born in Stillwater, Oklahoma and raised between the United States and Australia, Stinson’s life has been shaped by movement, adaptation and reinvention.
