Country musician Brian “Nashville” Neil Duckworth has died. He was 56.

Duckworth died at his home in Clarksburg, W. Va., on Sept. 7, according to his obituary. A cause of death was not disclosed.

Duckworth was a member of country trio Taylor Made, alongside his sister Wendy Williams and brother Greg Duckworth.

Music was “a special part of his life,” according to his obituary, which adds that he “never passed up an opportunity to share his voice, earning him the affectionate nickname ‘Nashville.’ ”

Taylor Made made waves in the country music world in the 2010s. The band won Independent Artist of the Year from Music Row magazine in 2013, Billboard previously reported.

Speaking to the outlet at the time, the siblings credited their publicist with helping them break into the country music scene.

“Three kids from the back porch have to have a lot of help to get the exposure,” Duckworth said. “We’re just excited about each and every step along the way.”

The group made a name for themselves with hits like 2012’s “Things You Don’t Grow Out Of”, which reached No. 36 on the Billboard Indicator chart. They performed alongside Dierks Bentley, Charlie Daniels and Miranda Lambert, USA Today reported.

Outside of his music career, Duckworth was a “devoted dump truck driver for Wolfe’s Excavating,” according to his obituary, which described him as the “Truck Boss,” a job he “truly enjoyed because it allowed him to spend his days outdoors.”

“Whether working or relaxing, Brian was happiest surrounded by nature,” the obituary described the late musician.

Duckworth is survived by his wife, Tina Scheuvront Duckworth, whom he married in October 2010.

He is also survived by his six children, Zach Morris, Ashton Goines, Logan Duckworth, Kayla Starkey, Michael Starkey, and Matt Starkey; four grandchildren, five sisters and brothers, and his pets.

Duckworth was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Keith Duckworth; and father-in-law, Robert “Bob” Lee Scheuvront.

Duckworth will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Garden on Monday, Sept. 14.
