- Mark Indelicato married David Watson in an outdoor ceremony on Sat., Oct. 10
- The couple shared their first dance to Paul McCrane’s “Is It Okay If I Call You Mine?”
- Paul W. Downs, Hannah Einbinder, Meg Stalter and Poppy Liu joined the celebration
Mark Indelicato is a married man — and Deborah Vance made it happen!
The actor, 32, married partner David Watson on Saturday, Oct. 10, according to social media posts from his Hacks costars.
The outdoor wedding was officiated by Jean Smart, as seen in videos shared by both Johnny Sibilly and Hannah Einbinder. Smart played comedian Deborah in the beloved HBO Max series from 2021-2026, while Indelicato portrayed her assistant, Damien, throughout the show’s run.
In Sibilly’s clip from the ceremony, Smart, 75, says, “Do you, Mark Anthony Indelicato, take David Joel Watson to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, in sickness, in health, for richer, for poorer, as long as you both shall live?”
When Indelicato responds in the affirmative, Smart says, “Then by the power vested in me by American Marriage Ministers, I now pronounce you husband and husband.”
Indelicato and Watson kiss in Sibilly and Einbinder’s clips from the ceremony, before immediately moving to the dance floor and sharing their first dance to “Is It Okay If I Call You Mine?” by Paul McCrane.
For the wedding, both grooms wore black suits with white button-down collared shirts, though appeared to change into more casual looks for the afterparty, including a black tank top for Indelicato.

Hacks followed Deborah (Smart) as she attempted to revive her comedy career after years in a Las Vegas residency. She hires young comic writer Ava Daniels (Einbinder) to help her achieve the career refresh — which eventually leads to much success for both women. Indelicato’s Damien is by Deborah’s side for her journey back to the top.
The Emmy Award-winning series was co- created by Paul W. Downs and his partner Lucia Aniello, who were both in attendance for the nuptials. Downs shared a group photo with Indelicato, Smart, Sibilly and Einbinder, as well as their costars Meg Stalter and Poppy Liu. “Hacks fam 4 Eva,” Downs wrote over the Instagram Stories picture.

Indelicato, who also appeared in series Ugly Betty as a child, previously opened up about his sexuality to Out in May 2022, saying that his parents were very supportive when he came out as gay to them in high school.
“I feel very, very lucky and fortunate that I had such supportive parents, and that [they] also didn’t make it a big deal,” he said at the time. “[They] were just so, ‘OK, cool. No doubt. Doesn’t define you as a human being. It’s just an aspect of who you are, of your identity. And that’s great and you should celebrate that.’ “

Upon reading the pilot for Hacks, Indelicato said he immediately knew it was “something special,” and was impressed with the show’s LGBTQ+ representation.
“They’re just existing as queer people,” he told Out. “There’s not really this grandstanding coming-out story, which I think in and of itself is a huge milestone in LGBTQ representation. That their queerness isn’t drama, that it just is.”
