We are honoured to bring you an exclusive listen to the new single ‘Take It On Notice’ from veteran artist Al Carr: a frequent artist on our pages.

‘Take It On Notice’ is a vibrant thrashy number driven on a danceable back beat and rumbling guitars beating out a steady pulse. Carr’s vocals as ever have a Feargal Sharkey timbre and a soaring melody adds to sonic rush with a heavenly backing chorus. Lyrically, Carr says:

The central theme of the song is absorbing it all and marching forward with an assuredness in one’s sense of place and framework for understanding the world despite the opinions offered.

This has a buzzsaw undercut and an aura that evokes night time driving at high speeds under expansive starry skies:

‘Take It On Notice’ is out now and the new album is released on 13 November – you can pre-order it here.
