The singer, who turns 42 on Oct. 25, 2026, shares Daisy with ex Orlando Bloom

Katy Perry’s daughter Daisy gets to witness her superstar mom entertain the world.

The singer, who celebrates her 42nd birthday on Oct. 25, 2026, welcomed her daughter Daisy Dove with ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom in 2020. Although the couple split in 2025, they will always be “family” and “put their daughter first,” a source told PEOPLE.

A year after giving birth to Daisy, she told Variety that motherhood has taught her about “unconditional love.”

“Obviously my mother has that for me, but I didn’t really experience it in the first-person until I had my child,” she said. “And that was just a whole ‘nother level. I think I see through the eyes of a child — like my life and my art always feels playful — so it’s amazing to be able to relate to kids even in your deep 30s.”

During Perry’s Lifetimes Tour, Daisy joined her on the road, and she hopes the experience serves as an example for her daughter as she grows up.

“She’s seeing her mother in her purpose, and that’s good for her; she sees her mom being strong,” Perry told PEOPLE in September 2026.

UNICEF, for which Bloom and Perry are Goodwill Ambassadors, announced the arrival of the couple’s child in 2020.

“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” the pair told UNICEF, sharing that they set up a donation page to help other expecting parents have safe access to quality healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic.
