They also pass the squat test

Now that celebs like Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner have co-signed capri leggings as a transitional fall staple, I’m finally adding a pair (actually, a few!) to my closet this season.

Luckily, I just uncovered a hidden gem at Amazon: the Walifrey Capri Leggings. Shoppers say they’re soft, stretchy, and even pass the squat test (IYKYK). Thousands of shoppers bought them last month, so it’s no surprise they’re Amazon’s best-selling leggings. And if you want to grab a pair to copy the celeb-worn trend, you can score them for just $7.

The capris have a wide, smoothing waistband that hugs your body and stays put while you stretch. While they’re not advertised as compression leggings, one shopper noted that the waistband doesn’t “roll down” and has “great tummy control.” They also have discreet seams, so you don’t have to worry about creating a visible line beneath tank tops or T-shirts.

Although this calf-skimming style is popular for casual wear, they’re also easy to dress up with everyday basics. Grab a pretty blouse and snappy loafers to wear for brunch dates on warmer autumn days, then pair them with a denim jacket and slouchy knee-high boots as the weather gets cooler. Even better? Because it’s a wrinkle-resistant style, the capris are a reliable travel staple to pack inside your luggage.

One reviewer, who called them the “perfect summer leggings,” even said they’re comfortable enough to also wear “under a dress.” Another shopper wrote they’re “buttery soft” and called out their “opacity.”

Add the Walifrey Capri Leggings to your cart for only $7, then keep scrolling to see more capri pants to add to your closet this season.
