Patrick Mahomes can often be found greeting his family on the sidelines of his football games.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, are proud parents to three children, whom they frequently bring to cheer him on during his games.

The couple, who are high school sweethearts, became parents shortly after Patrick won his first Super Bowl title in 2020 when they welcomed daughter Sterling Skye Mahomes in February 2021. They continued growing their family the following year when they had Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes in November 2022 and later Golden Raye Mahomes in January 2025.

Over the years, Brittany has brought the children to attend their father’s games and some of his most significant milestones — including back-to-back Super Bowl wins. In October 2022, Patrick opened up about fatherhood and said that he tries to “stay out of the way” of his kids’ potential athletic interests.

“I’m going to teach my son, my daughter all the fundamentals and whatever they want to learn,” he said on Football in America. “But at the same time … I want to let it be about them … That’s what my dad did growing up, that’s what my parents did. They didn’t pressure me to do anything. I think that’s why I’m in the position I am today.”

Baby’s first Super Bowl

Although Patrick had won his first Super Bowl in 2020, he didn’t get to celebrate with his little ones until he took home the coveted trophy in February 2023.

The quarterback was photographed hugging and kissing Brittany while also posing for pictures with his eldest child, daughter Sterling Skye. The couple also brought their newborn son, Bronze.

“We didn’t really discuss any other options,” Brittany told USA Today ahead of the game in regards to bringing the little ones. “This is an amazing accomplishment for Patrick, and we knew we wanted both kids there to witness it and support their dad. Overwhelming, maybe, but that’s pretty normal for our life in general! He wants his kiddos with him as much as they can be.”

Opening the season together

Brittany brought Sterling and Bronze along to cheer on their dad at one of his first games of the 2023-2024 football season.

The Kansas City Current co-owner shared pictures of the kiddos wearing Chiefs gear — including Bronze in his dad’s jersey — in September 2023.

“Dubs for Dad❤️,” she captioned the snaps after the Chiefs defeated the Chicago Bears.

Family of four at the big game

For the second year in a row, Patrick and the Chiefs took home the Vince Lombardi Trophy at Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers in February 2024. Patrick was also named Super Bowl 2024 MVP for the third time in his career.

Patrick took time to pose for celebratory pictures with Brittany, Sterling and Bronze, on the field after winning the big game. Brittany later posted more pictures with her husband and kids and wrote that she was “forever proud” of him.

Family training camp day

Even in the off-season, the Mahomes family shows up in full force to support Patrick and the Chiefs.

Brittany brought Sterling and Bronze for a family fun day at the Chiefs training camp at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Mo., in July 2024. She shared a picture of them on the field on Instagram and wrote, “the best day❤️.”

Patrick later reflected on his family’s support and told PEOPLE that he relies on FaceTime to stay connected with them while he’s playing away games.

“It makes the distance feel a little smaller when I’m on the road,” he said in September 2024, while adding that he’s “spending as much time with the family” as he can.

Pregame fist bumps

Prior to most of his games, Patrick heads over to the sidelines to find his wife and children for a pregame hug and kiss.

Before taking on the Denver Broncos in November 2024, Patrick went over to give a hug and kiss to his wife and daughter Sterling before sharing a fist bump with son Bronze.

Three little ones

In January 2025, the Mahomes family expanded when Patrick and Brittany welcomed their third child, daughter Golden Raye.

Just like her older siblings, Golden began cheering on her dad from the sidelines of his football games at less than a year old. In November 2025, Patrick stopped to share a kiss with Brittany and his kids, while Brittany held the baby in her other hand. He helped lead the team to victory against the Indianapolis Colts.

Brittany posted pictures of her watching the game with the three kids and included a video of the two older ones jumping up and down when Patrick came to hug them. She joked in the caption, “Sideline chaos🤣❤️.”

Father-daughter preseason kisses

Even when Patrick is preparing for his football games, he’s prioritizing his children.

Before Patrick and the Chiefs competed against the Seattle Seahawks in a preseason game in August 2026, he embraced Sterling and kissed her on the cheek.

Home games as a family of five

Brittany brought all three kiddos out to cheer on Patrick during the 2026-2027 NFL season at a home game in October 2026. She dressed all three kids in Chiefs gear — including Bronze in a red T-shirt with his name and a Chiefs mascot embroidered on it.

She shared an Instagram post and included a video featuring Sterling waving pom-poms in the crowd, while another showed Bronze screaming that his dad needed to score a touchdown.

“The best times🥹❤️,” she captioned the photos and videos.

Four cheerleaders

All three kids showcased their cheerleading skills while supporting Patrick from the sidelines during a Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos in November 2026.

Brittany posted pictures and videos of Sterling, Bronze and Golden wearing stitched Chiefs sweaters while sitting on the field before the game. She also included photos of the three kids high-fiving Patrick, playing on the floor and hyping up their dad.

“If you saw our wrestling match pre-game…no ya didn’t,” she wrote with a laughing emoji.
