July is turning up the heat in your love life, but chemistry and attraction alone won’t suffice.

The month is supercharged with passion and adrenaline, but ongoing tension could potentially alter the course of a relationship.

Single or taken, you could suddenly question an arrangement that once felt secure or come to terms with the fact that a relationship dynamic no longer supports your core values.

The month begins under the mentally tense and lingering influence of Mars conjunct Uranus in Gemini, an unpredictable synergy that can trigger everything from sudden flirtations, surprising confessions and impulsive choices.

Then on July 7, Neptune will station retrograde in Aries, pulling the curtain back on fantasies and ideals surrounding romantic partners and potentials.   

Venus will also enter the methodical and modest sign of Virgo on July 9, making romance more intentional, observant and selective. Grand gestures matter less than effort and consistency under this transit — it’s the little things.

A meaningful and emotional revelation arrives on July 12, when the sun joins forces with Mercury retrograde in Cancer in a “Mercury Cazimi,” bringing everything from past conversations to unresolved feelings to the forefront with newfound clarity.

Then, on July 13, Venus will clash with change-maker Uranus, intensifying feelings of restlessness along with a collective attraction to the unconventional, while the new moon in Cancer on July 14 sets the stage for a clean slate in our personal lives.
