Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are sharing an intimate look at their charity event date night.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex supported their friend David Foster at his event celebrating 40 years of fundraising for the David Foster Foundation on Friday, Aug. 7.

The following day, on Saturday, Aug. 8, Meghan, 45, shared a candid photo from the evening on Instagram— a smiling selfie of herself and Harry, 41.

Meghan posed closely next to Harry as she wore a dress from Canadian designer Greta Constantine. She paired the attire with the late Princess Diana’s diamond and sapphire earrings.

Harry, meanwhile, wore a classic black tuxedo with a matching bow tie as he smiled beside his wife in the snapshot.

Included in the Instagram post was a video of Meghan and Harry greeting performers at the charity event, as well as saying hello to other guests in attendance.

Meghan left her caption simple, posting just two emojis: one of Canada’s flag and the other of a red heart.

On her Instagram Stories, the mother of two shared more looks into her visit to Canada with Prince Harry. In one post, Meghan took video from a car that showed the Canadian flag flying on a pole. Another was a professional image taken of the couple at the event.

Meghan also posted a video of a dessert featured at the Foster-backed fundraiser — a chocolate piano with purple frosting inside.

Meghan and Harry’s relationship with music producer Foster, 76, goes back years.

Other attendees at the Aug. 7 event included Foster’s wife, Katharine McPhee, as well as Adam Levine and Josh Groban.

Meghan’s use of Princess Diana’s diamond and sapphire earrings came two weeks after she and Harry shared a rare photo of their children — Princess Lilibet, 5, and Prince Archie, 7 — visiting Althorp, Princess Diana’s childhood home.

Canada is a special place for Meghan and Harry. The former Suits actress was living in Toronto while filming the show, and it was there when her romance with Harry began.

The now-married pair made their first public outing as a couple at the Toronto Invictus Games in 2017. (In addition to spending their first holidays as a family of three in Vancouver in 2019, they returned to Vancouver for the 2025 Invictus Games.)
