Midnight Til Morning are squeezing in one final Australian show before heading overseas, announcing an intimate headline date at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Sunday September 20.

The one-off show will be the transpacific pop-rock group’s final Australian appearance before they leave for their UK and European tour next month. For Sydney fans, there is another incentive: the band will debut brand-new unreleased material live for the first time, alongside established favourites and a few surprises.

Midnight Til Morning have taken a decidedly 2020s route to becoming a band. Australians Conor Smith and Mason Watts joined Americans Shane Appell and Zach Newbould through blind auditions on Netflix’s ‘Building the Band’, with the four effectively forming in front of an international television audience.

That unusual beginning quickly moved beyond the screen. Their debut single ‘Bye’, co-written with Benson Boone and Amy Allen, launched a busy 2025 that saw the group tour the US, Canada and Australia, selling out multiple shows along the way.

The pace has continued through 2026 with ‘Math’, ‘Easy’, ‘Walk Away’ and ‘Gracie’, while an appearance on the Great Oak Stage at BST Hyde Park marked their first UK festival performance. Their forthcoming UK and European dates will now take them into their biggest headline rooms so far.

Before that, there is Oxford Art Factory. With new songs getting their first public airing and the band about to head overseas, the Sydney show offers a compact preview of where Midnight Til Morning are heading next.
