Benson Boone has added Ruel to his Australian ‘Wanted Man Tour’, bringing the Sydney-born pop singer along for all nine arena shows across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne this November.
It is a sizeable homecoming for Ruel, who returns to Australia fresh from the release of his third album ‘Kicking My Feet & Screaming’. Now based in Los Angeles, the 23-year-old has spent much of 2026 on the move, beginning the year with a North American headline tour before appearances at Lollapalooza in Chile, Argentina and Brazil and Colombia’s Estéreo Picnic. A European and UK run follows in October before he joins Boone back home.

‘Kicking My Feet & Screaming’ also finds Ruel pushing beyond the polished pop that first made him one of Australia’s most successful young exports. Led by ‘Don’t Say That’, the album moves into grittier production while giving its songwriting more room for vulnerability, earning a Feature Album nod from triple j.
Boone, meanwhile, arrives in Australia at a very different point from the artist who broke through only a few years ago. ‘Beautiful Things’ turned his 2024 debut ‘Fireworks & Rollerblades’ into a global event, becoming the most-streamed song worldwide that year, reaching number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and spending seven weeks at the top of the Billboard Global 200.
His second album ‘American Heart’ followed in 2025, with ‘Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else’ and ‘Mystical Magical’ expanding a catalogue built around Boone’s increasingly enormous pop choruses and diaristic songwriting. The momentum carried into 2026 with a Super Bowl appearance alongside Ben Stiller, a performance during the Super Bowl LX concert series and his current 35-date North American ‘Wanted Man Tour’.
New single ‘The Time of My Life’ is already pointing towards Boone’s next chapter, but November will put the focus firmly on the scale his rise has reached. Nine Australian arena dates is quite a leap for an artist whose debut album arrived only two years ago.
Adding Ruel gives the Australian leg another point of interest beyond Boone’s rapid ascent. Two young pop artists who have built substantial international audiences arrive from opposite sides of the Pacific, with Ruel coming home just as Boone brings his biggest Australian tour yet to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
