Chase & Status are heading back Down Under, announcing their first Australian and New Zealand live shows in a decade. The UK drum and bass heavyweights return in March 2027, armed with a brand-new album, Generic Everything, and more than 20 years of dancefloor domination behind them.
Few acts have done more to drag drum and bass out of the underground and into the mainstream. From jungle and rave to UK rap and soundsystem culture, the London duo have built a career on massive basslines, relentless beats and tracks that hit hard enough to shake an arena.
And the numbers speak for themselves. More than 2.5 billion global streams, a BRIT Award for British Producer of the Year and a UK Number One with Stormzy collaboration BACKBONE. Then there’s Baddadan, the monster anthem that spent more than 15 weeks in the UK Top 10 and went Platinum.
Last year, Chase & Status sold out an entire UK arena tour, becoming the fastest-selling electronic act in London’s O2 Arena history. Not bad for a pair who have been at this for over two decades.
Now Australia and New Zealand finally get another crack at them. Ten years is a long wait, but with Generic Everythingon the way and their live reputation bigger than ever, Chase & Status are returning with plenty of firepower.
