Kim Kardashian has gotten to experience Elizabeth Taylor’s precious jewels more than once.

The SKIMS founder, 46, revealed in an Instagram video on Wednesday, Oct. 28, that she wore the late Cleopatra star’s iconic Bulgari emerald and diamond necklace for a photoshoot in Rome — though it wasn’t her first time seeing the piece.

“When she passed away, I was brought into her home [and] shown her safe with all of her jewelry before they cleared it out,” Kardashian told the Bulgari team. 

“So, I was able to see everything in her home and her jewelry still in her safe and all of her stuff still [there], her furniture,” she continued. “I was able to go in there like right after she passed. I know that sounds insane, but I was able to see this stuff in her purple closet.”

When it comes to the Bulgari emerald and diamond necklace, The Kardashians star also revealed that she “was lucky enough to have a phone conversation with her about this piece” before her death in March 2011. 

The Bulgari team could be seen showing Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner, 70, the jewels — which they noted had been pulled from the archives — before the former put them on. Jenner teased her daughter, “How does it feel, Liz?”

“Wow. Law [Roach] really pulled some strings here,” Kardashian remarked.

Later in the video, she could be seen FaceTiming the celebrity stylist to show off the jewels as she remarked, “Look at this. You did it. I don’t know how you did this. But this is like the best birthday present ever… Now I can start my year with this Elizabeth energy.”

In various clips, she could be seen posing for photos with the necklace before they were returned to the Bulgari team. Kardashian concluded her video saying, “What a way to start the press tour, like insanity.”

“If these jewels could talk…@elizabethtaylor @bvlgari,” she captioned the post. 

Kardashian has made several nods to Taylor — whom she has had a long-standing fascination with —during her press tour for the second season of All’s Fair.

In the show, she even recreated an iconic look originally worn by Elizabeth Taylor when she attended Princess Grace of Monaco’s 40th birthday celebration at Hôtel Hermitage in Monte-Carlo in 1969.

While starring as Allura Grant, a determined divorce lawyer and the co-founder of an all-female law firm, Kardashian wore a black velvet hood with a bright ivory silk interior nearly identical to the one worn by Taylor. 

She also channeled the old Hollywood star by wearing a 1951 Balenciaga gown at the 2026 Academy Museum Gala on Oct. 17 with a vintage-inspired bouffant hairstyle and diamond jewelry.
