Sunday Rose Kidman Urban is getting real about her rise in the industry.
The 18-year-old model spoke with Vogue Germany for a cover story published on Tuesday, Oct. 20 about carving out a career for herself with her parents being Oscar winner Nicole Kidman and Grammy winner Keith Urban.
“I’m very aware that I’m given opportunities that not everyone can have, and I’m truly grateful to be able to take advantage of them,” Sunday Rose told the outlet, adding that she arrives at every job she takes with a positive mindset.
“So when I’m at work, I make sure to always give my best, never come to work with a negative attitude, no matter how tired or jet-lagged I may be, and treat everyone with respect,” she continued.

Sunday Rose was asked if she’s ever “intentionally not” told other people who her famous mom and dad are.
“Not really. I mean, I haven’t intentionally told anyone, but not that many people live in our area, so I think most people just knew when I started school,” she said in response, referring to an area of her life that she’s approached more diligently amid her blossoming modeling career.
“Funnily enough, I think school is what keeps me grounded the most when I’m modeling. When I started, I wasn’t sure how to cope with the contrast between those two worlds,” she said. “But now I’ve found a way to enjoy modeling, traveling and experiencing all these amazing things with these amazing people, and then coming back here and enjoying the comforting feeling of routine and going to school.”
As a result, she’s less of a “procrastinator” and, instead, relies on structure. “I need to make sure I hand in my assignments on time, because that’s no excuse,” she said.

October 2024 marked Sunday Rose’s runway debut. She made headlines for walking in Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week.
“I remember arriving there and thinking I knew so much about modeling, but in reality, I knew nothing at all,” she admitted to Vogue Germany. She added, “There’s so much work behind a show, so many people, so much organization — it’s truly insane. And it’s very inspiring to see it all!”
Sunday Rose also revealed that Kidman told her that she couldn’t start modeling until she was 16, two years after she expressed having interest in it at age 14.
Since her first runway show, Sunday Rose has participated in shows across New York, Milan and Paris, most recently walking in the Valentino show on Oct. 4.
She also attended her first Met Gala alongside her mom this past May, making her one of the youngest attendees alongside Beyoncé’s 14-year-old daughter Blue Ivy. While Kidman turned heads in a sequin Chanel feathered gown, Sunday wore a pink Dior couture dress.
