Controversial “looksmaxxing” influencer Clavicular has filed a motion to dismiss multiple charges against him, including rape and drugging a person for sex.
The 20-year-old content creator, whose real name is Braden Peters, was charged in Massachusetts with one count of rape, one count of drugging someone for sexual intercourse and a third for procuring liquor while under the age of 21. The latter charge is a misdemeanor.
On Oct. 22, Peters filed a motion to dismiss all three counts “based on the presentation of insufficient evidence,” according to documents obtained by PEOPLE.
Peters appeared in court on Oct. 22 in Orleans, Mass., for the arraignment, where he pleaded not guilty to all three charges, per court docs reviewed by PEOPLE. At the arraignment, a judge set bail at $10,000. Peters posted bail immediately after the hearing. As part of his bail conditions, he agreed to surrender his passport, stay away from the plaintiff, and refrain from posting about her online. The next court date is set for Nov. 24.
Peters’ rep declined to comment on the motion to dismiss the charges.
According to the original court records obtained by PEOPLE, Peters allegedly invited the teenage girl to his family’s, arranging an Uber to bring her there and paying her “to do ‘looksmaxxing videos’ ” and “make herself known online.”
“Looksmaxxing” is a trend primarily associated with young men seeking to become as physically attractive as possible, sometimes using extreme measures. Peters has built a social media following under the username Clavicular by creating content centered on the trend.

The alleged victim told police that Peters was “aware of my age” when she arrived, and that he’d instructed her to say she was 18 and tell viewers that the alcohol he provided was “water” to avoid having his Twitch account or livestream banned, according to the complaint.
She reported she felt “peer-pressured” to drink and later said she got “really drunk” after she had “two, three shots, but it was like not really shots, it was more so like cups.” After the livestream had ended, she alleged that she fell asleep in Peters’ bed and woke the next morning to him “having sex with me” without her consent. She recalled feeling “shocked” and “uncomfortable,” the complaint states.
She further said in the complaint she did not immediately tell anyone about the alleged assault because she was scared, and she did not undergo a sexual assault examination at the time. She eventually reported the incident to police on June 4, 2026, telling them she wanted to “report being raped by Braden Peters.”
The allegations in the criminal case match those in a lawsuit by influencer Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza — who is known online as Alorah Ziva — from April, which alleged battery, fraud and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Mendoza filed the complaint against the streamer in Florida. The complaint, which was obtained by PEOPLE, alleged that she met Peters in 2025 when she was underage and that he paid her $1,000 to film videos for him.

Mendoza, who is now 18, claimed in the complaint that after filming four videos about “looksmaxxing” for Peters, they were texting when he ordered her an Uber to meet him at his parents’ home in Cape Cod, Mass.
