Simone Ashley has a new man in her life.

The Bridgerton star, 31, was photographed with Jay Jammal, a senior account executive at Soho Communications, in London on Sunday, Aug. 23.

She was dressed in a yellow sundress and had a blue bandana in her hair as she walked a dog in Notting Hill, and Jammal walked one too. In one of the photos, Ashley and Jammal are holding hands.

Jammal graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder and moved to London from Colorado in 2023. He works on accounts ranging from luxury hospitality to charities at the London-based communications agency.

The Aug. 23 outing marked the first time Ashley has been seen with Jammal.

She was most recently linked to businessman Tim Sykes, whom she was photographed kissing at the US Open last year.

Weeks earlier, she sparked dating rumors with Joshua Jackson when they were seen out in New York City together. She and Jackson were laughing and smiling in the photos, but there was no PDA.

The last public relationship Ashley was in was with Tino Klein, whom she dated for roughly three years. She revealed they’d split during a February 2025 interview on BBC’s Woman’s Hour, where she said, “As of January this year, I’ve been entering my single era.”

She told PEOPLE shortly afterwards that she was “not in a rush” to find a new partner, and instead was “defining my single era as a time that I don’t wanna waste away.”

“It’s about self-growth, and I am looking for someone who is so confident in themselves and is really ready to have an open heart in the same way I do. And I think that’s hard to find,” Ashley said. “It can be easy to jump into the next thing immediately, which is something that I am choosing not to do.”

Instead, she said she wanted to“take my time to find the right person for me and to work on myself — to grow, and to focus on my work.”

“I’m up to such exciting things, and I have the most amazing family and friends around me. So I’m working on my heart and on myself and on my confidence.”
